The empanelment enables MICK Digital to participate in government procurement programmes through platforms including the GeM, NHM, and various State Health Missions.

Hyderabad-based MICK Digital, a subsidiary of MIC Electronics, an engineering and solutions company, has entered the medical devices sector through a partnership with Andhra Pradesh MedTech Zone (AMTZ) and has been empanelled as an authorised Channel Partner of AMTZ.

The partnership authorises the company to market, distribute, install, and support a broad portfolio of AMTZ-manufactured medical devices and healthcare equipment across hospitals, healthcare institutions, and government healthcare programmes nationwide.

The empanelment also enables Hyderabad-based MICK Digital to participate in government procurement programmes through platforms including the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), the National Health Mission (NHM), and various State Health Missions.

This is expected to create new opportunities for supplying domestically manufactured medical technologies to public healthcare institutions.

Established in 2024, MICK Digital serves as the commercial and solutions subsidiary of Hyderabad-based MIC Electronics, which brings more than 36 years of engineering and manufacturing experience.

Alongside medical electronics distribution, the company operates across Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS/SMT), Indian Railways solutions, and LED lighting.

Siva Ram A, Head of Business Operations, MIC Electronics, said, “Our vision is to ensure that the best of Indian-made medical technology reaches not just large hospitals in metros, but also district hospitals, community health centres, and healthcare institutions in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities across the country. Together with AMTZ, we are committed to contributing meaningfully to a self-reliant, accessible, and world-class Indian healthcare ecosystem.”

Under the partnership, MICK Digital will distribute a wide range of medical devices, including ventilators, patient monitors, ICU systems, dialysis equipment, surgical and operating theatre solutions, diagnostic imaging systems, laboratory equipment, hospital infrastructure products, and medical consumables.

The company aims to extend the availability of these technologies beyond metropolitan hospitals to district hospitals, community health centres, medical colleges, diagnostic laboratories, and private healthcare providers across Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities.

Through its collaboration with AMTZ, MICK Digital also plans to provide installation, integration, and after-sales support, helping strengthen India's healthcare infrastructure while promoting wider adoption of Made-in-India medical devices.
