MedPredict Launches MediElaj to Expand Access to AI-enabled Diagnostics

The smart kiosk model is designed for neighbourhoods, workplaces, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, remote government health centres, and private community clinics.

Faridabad-based medtech startup MedPredict has launched MediElaj, an AI-powered healthcare platform combining a mobile app and a smart diagnostic kiosk platform to improve access to affordable and preventive healthcare services across India.

The platform combines artificial intelligence with health services to support early diagnosis, preventive care, and health screening across urban, semiurban, and rural areas.

It is intended to bridge the healthcare accessibility gap in rural communities by connecting traditional healthcare systems with digital health technologies.

Commenting on the new initiative, Debjit Patra, Chairman and Founder, MediElaj, said, “MediElaj is built to transform the very foundation of public healthcare by strengthening availability, affordability, scalability, and equity through breakthrough AI technology. We believe this will drive a paradigm shift in diagnostics and screening across the global healthcare ecosystem. Our goal is to enable a systemic transformation in healthcare delivery at scale, both in India and globally.”

The smart kiosk model is designed for neighbourhoods, workplaces, Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, remote government health centres, and private community clinics.

In addition, each kiosk is equipped with more than 30 diagnostic tests, including ECG, SpO₂ monitoring, and vital signs assessment.

The startup stated that its health app offers AI-assisted symptom analysis, wellness tools, and patient support services and reported that the app has recorded over 100,000 downloads.

Further, the startup noted that an initial community centre kiosk pilot completed more than 200 diagnoses and conducted over 350 non-invasive tests.

Reportedly, the startup has signed MoUs with hospitals and colleges for collaborative research and healthcare innovation.

Meanwhile, discussions regarding pilot healthcare programmes are also underway with governments in two western Indian markets, subject to clinical validation.

With the launch of MediElaj, MedPredict aims to expand its AI-driven hybrid model and strengthen its position in AI-led diagnostics and healthcare accessibility in India and international markets.

The latest launch follows the company’s earlier announcement to expand its AI-driven hybrid healthcare model beyond its pilot phase.
