The partnership will focus on key areas including AI-powered healthcare solutions, medical devices and diagnostics, point-of-care technologies, and next-generation MedTech innovations.

Heartnet India, an IoT-based cardiac care solutions provider, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Jodhpur Technology Park aimed at supporting research and innovation in the healthcare and MedTech ecosystem.

The partnership will focus on key areas including AI-powered healthcare solutions, medical devices and diagnostics, point-of-care technologies, and next-generation MedTech innovations.

The collaboration is intended to serve as a platform to foster research and technology development aimed at addressing healthcare challenges from both technological and implementation perspectives. By combining academic excellence with industry expertise, this collaboration seeks to transform research into impactful solutions while improving patient care and strengthening future healthcare delivery.

This partnership, led in collaboration with Arindam Sen, Founder, Heartnet India is expected to facilitate joint efforts in research, innovation, and the development of advanced healthcare technologies.

Commenting on the latest partnership, Arindam Sen, Founder, Heartnet India, said, “Healthcare innovation becomes meaningful when research and technology can move beyond the laboratory and address problems that patients and healthcare professionals actually face.”

“Our collaboration with IIT Jodhpur Technology Park allows us to work closely with an academic and research ecosystem while bringing our understanding of healthcare delivery to the table. We look forward to exploring practical applications across AI, diagnostics, medical devices, and MedTech that can create measurable value for healthcare,” he added.

The partnership comes against the backdrop of ongoing research and healthcare innovation development at IIT Jodhpur.

In a recent development, the institute developed next-generation flexible semiconductor devices capable of continuously tracking physiological signals.

The technology is aimed at enabling early disease detection while offering comfortable, real-time monitoring through wearable, skin-conformal technologies.

Further, the latest partnership also builds on Heartnet’s focus on technology-enabled healthcare.

Last year, the Bengaluru-based IoT provider launched 'Hridaya,' a dedicated women’s cardiac health program that leverages ECG monitoring and an AI-powered cloud platform for secure data storage and real-time access to predictive health insights.
