Agegorithm evaluates the efficiency of gut and oral microbiome functions and mitochondrial performance to determine the pace of cellular aging.
Delhi-based startup Genefitletics has introduced Agegorithm, a machine-learning-driven human biology model that quantifies biological age at the molecular and cellular levels.
Unlike chronological age, which measures time since birth, biological age provides insights into how well an individual's body is aging internally.
Agegorithm evaluates the efficiency of gut and oral microbiome functions and mitochondrial performance to determine the pace of cellular aging.
The company claims that the model is built on a data-driven mathematical algorithm that leverages six billion molecular data points, phenotype metadata, and longitudinal datasets specific to the Indian adult population aged 18 to 55 years.
The model operates on Genefitletics' proprietary machine-learning platform, PROTEBA, which analyzes molecular activity in the gut and oral microbiome while assessing mitochondrial efficiency.
By statistically integrating over 400 biochemical pathways, Agegorithm calculates a biological age score based on key health markers such as oral health, immune function, metabolic health, gut health, and stress response.
The platform identifies sources of systemic inflammation and oxidative stress, two major contributors to accelerated aging.
Using these insights, Genefitletics' proprietary recommendation engine provides personalized nutritional therapies, supplements, and oral hygiene interventions to optimize biochemical functions and slow biological aging.
Agegorithm is now part of Genefitletics' full-body biochemistry solution, ORAHYG PRO, and will be available to users at no additional cost.
The company aims to revolutionize preventive healthcare by offering precision-driven interventions based on individual biological markers.
