Fischer Medical Ventures’ TMIV Imaging Launches Clarion, AI-powered CT Scan System
The platform combines CT imaging hardware with AI-enabled workflow features intended to support image acquisition, patient positioning, and operational processes within imaging departments.
Time Medical International Ventures (TMIV) India, a Chennai-based medtech company and wholly owned subsidiary of Fischer Medical Ventures, has launched its Clarion 64/128-Slice AI-driven CT system in India.
The platform combines CT imaging hardware with AI-enabled workflow features intended to support image acquisition, patient positioning, and operational processes within imaging departments.
Core Capabilities
At the core of the CT system is an advanced Liquid Metal Bearing (LMB) X-ray tube featuring 360-degree liquid-metal cooling.
The technology is designed to improve heat dissipation, maintain stable focal-spot positioning, enable continuous high-speed operation, and extend tube life.
The system also features the company’s Aegis Detector System, designed to enhance image clarity and low-contrast detectability while supporting low-dose imaging protocols.
It incorporates several intelligent workflow capabilities, including three-click scanning, AI-assisted automatic patient positioning using a quad-lens depth camera, and remote-control functionality.
These capabilities are intended to simplify CT operations and improve workflow efficiency for imaging departments.
Additionally, the platform is available in configurations of up to 128 slices, supporting applications ranging from routine diagnostic imaging to advanced cardiac, vascular, neurological, thoracic, abdominal, orthopaedic and interventional procedures.
Further, the 64-slice configuration features a 91 cm bore, making it suitable for vascular imaging and intraoperative applications, while the 128-slice configuration is designed for procedures requiring higher temporal resolution.
Beyond conventional diagnostics, the CLARION platform extends into interventional and surgical environments.
The Big Bore CT-on-Rail configuration is intended to support mobility between clinical scenarios and enable hybrid operating room integration.
The system also includes advanced capabilities such as 4D CT phased acquisition to assist in respiratory monitoring and tumor targeting during radiotherapy by reducing motion-related artifacts.
The latest launch forms part of TMIV Imaging’s efforts to expand access to advanced medical imaging technologies in India.
Recently, the Chennai-based medtech company joined hands with Parul Sevashram Hospital in Vadodara to deploy the DRIS-iMRI Medharanya Suite.
The AI-enabled intraoperative MRI system combines advanced imaging and intelligent surgical technologies to help neurosurgeons make real-time decisions during complex brain procedures while strengthening academic training at Parul University.
