The newly raised capital will fund compliance certifications, strengthen integrations with LMS and quality management systems QMS, and support expansion across North America, Europe, the GCC and India.

AutoVRse, an AI-powered VR technology startup, has secured $2.4Mn in a funding round co-led by Singularity AMC's Large Value Fund III and Early Opportunities Fund, alongside existing investor Lumikai, aiming to expand its AI-powered training platform for the Pharma and MedTech industries while accelerating global market expansion and product development.

Founded in Bengaluru in 2016, AutoVRse develops immersive virtual reality (VR) training and AI-powered smart-glasses solutions that help enterprises train frontline employees and provide real-time operational guidance.

The startup currently serves more than 500,000 users across over 50 enterprise customers in North America, Europe, the GCC and India, including five of the world's 12 largest pharmaceutical companies by market capitalisation.

The platform combines VR-based training with AI-powered field assistance, enabling technicians, scientists and field service engineers to access verified procedural knowledge while performing complex tasks.

According to the startup, more than 5,000 field service engineers at a leading global MedTech company already use its smart-glasses solution to receive real-time guidance during equipment servicing.

"AI in regulated industries – such as pharmaceutical and medical devices – must be 100% reliable and cite compliant documentation. Our years building VR training for pharma scientists and lab technicians taught us that the only way to do this is to capture verified expert knowledge, authored and validated by the customer’s own subject matter experts,” said Ashwin Jaishanker, Co-Founder and CEO, AutoVRse

“We didn’t set out to build an AI company – we set out to train workers in VR, and in doing so we ended up building the knowledge layer that makes AI in regulated industries actually trustworthy. We’re grateful to Singularity AMC for backing this vision, and to Lumikai, who’ve believed in this bet for years,” he added.

At the centre of the startup's offering is VRseBuilder, a platform designed to convert expert operational knowledge into structured, machine-readable content.

The system captures and validates procedures directly from quality assurance professionals, cleanroom technicians and clinical specialists, creating an enterprise knowledge base that supports AI-driven guidance, digital twins and compliance documentation.

This approach is particularly relevant in regulated environments governed by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Quality System Regulations (QSR) and ISO standards, where training materials require expert validation.

The newly raised capital will fund compliance certifications, strengthen integrations with learning management systems (LMS) and quality management systems (QMS), and support expansion across North America, Europe, the GCC and India.
