Tandem Health Raises $100 Mn to Build AI-Native Clinic Operating System Across Europe

The round follows Tandem Health’s $50 Mn Series A in 2025, taking its total funding to $160 Mn.

Sweden-based healthtech startup Tandem Health has secured the $100 Mn round from the Scaleup Europe Fund, managed by EQT, marking the fund’s first healthcare investment. Existing investors Kinnevik, Northzone, Amino Collective, and Visionaries have also participated.

Tandem Health currently provides an AI Medical Assistant covering activities before, during, and after a patient consultation.

Its capabilities include preparing patient summaries, clinical decision support, documentation, coding, and task management. The platform is used across medicine, mental health, nursing, social services, physiotherapy, and dentistry.

The startup said its technology is now used by 10,000 care organisations across 14 European markets. Tandem Health has also secured EU MDR Class IIa certification for three of its medical devices in the past six months, covering its AI Medical Scribe, Coding Assistant and Clinical Decision Support tools.

Tandem Health said the $100 Mn funding will support two priorities: deeper expansion across its existing European markets and the development of an AI-native Clinic Operating System.

The planned platform will extend into patient-flow management, including triage, scheduling, and patient communications, while integrating more deeply with existing healthcare IT systems.
