Artisight Acquires TMG Global to Expand Smart Hospital Deployments Across the US

The acquisition will bring TMG Global’s deployment capabilities in-house, enabling health systems to work with a single team across the implementation process

Chicago-based healthcare technology company Artisight has acquired TMG Global, a Florida-based technology services firm, to scale the deployment of smart hospital technologies across health systems in the United States.

The acquisition aims to address challenges in hospital digital health deployments, including operational bottlenecks in coordinating multiple third-party subcontractors responsible for physical IT infrastructure, leading to installation delays, cabling retrofits, and extended clinical handoff timelines.

Through the acquisition, Artisight will bring TMG Global’s deployment capabilities in-house, enabling health systems to work with a single team across the implementation process, from site assessment and infrastructure planning to installation, testing, training, and clinical handoff.

The integrated capabilities will also include assessments of clinical spaces, wireless coverage, network and power requirements, as well as identification of structural, electrical, and connectivity upgrades required before technology can be deployed in patient rooms and operating suites.

In addition, the team seeks to manage hardware staging, pre-configuration, and logistics for edge-computing systems, including NVIDIA GPU-powered hardware.

Its capabilities will extend to cabling, device installation, edge-system commissioning, EHR integration testing, and the transition of deployed systems into clinical use.

Artisight’s platform combines computer vision, machine learning and natural language processing for use in clinical environments.

Built on proprietary edge AI infrastructure and developed in partnership with clinicians, the technology is designed to support patient safety, reduce administrative and operational burdens on care teams and improve hospital operations without requiring major changes to existing clinical workflows.

Meanwhile, TMG’s team brings experience across the full deployment lifecycle, including program and project management, clinical-space and MDF/IDF infrastructure surveys, remediation roadmaps, hardware logistics and staging, device and network installation, testing and validation, and Day 1 support.

The integration is expected to strengthen Artisight’s operational capabilities as it expands the deployment of its smart hospital technologies.

By combining its AI-powered hospital platform with an in-house deployment team, Artisight seeks to manage a broader share of the infrastructure and implementation requirements involved in deploying smart hospital technologies across complex healthcare settings.
