Aster Volunteers, the global Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) arm of Aster DM Healthcare, has recently launched its revolutionary Mobile Medical Service in Kerala and Tamil Nadu. This service is aimed at bridging the healthcare gap for remote villages. This initiative brings cutting-edge medical facilities to underserved communities, ensuring access to quality healthcare.

The initiative entails deploying mobile medical units equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including diagnostic and medical testing capabilities, consultations, and first-aid treatments. In Kerala, the Mobile Medical Service has added another unit to its existing fleet, bringing the total number of units to six. These units will serve the interior regions of Thrissur district, reaching remote and inaccessible areas. Meanwhile, Tamil Nadu has received two mobile units to operate in Chennai and Ramanathapuram district. This ensures a comprehensive reach in different parts of the state.

Hassan, Chairman, and Managing Director of Flora Group of Hotels; and Fr. Joy Koothur, CEO of Shanthibhavan Palliative Hospital, inaugurated the mobile units.
