Amaha Partners With WeWork India to Expand Mental Health Support Across 79 Locations

The initiative will introduce mental health support kits, specialized de-escalation training, clinician-led sessions and pathways to professional care for WeWork India members.

Amaha has partnered with WeWork India to expand access to mental health resources, clinical guidance and crisis preparedness across 79 workspace locations in India. The initiative will introduce mental health support kits, specialized de-escalation training, clinician-led sessions and pathways to professional care for WeWork India members.

As part of the partnership, mental health support kits covering anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and addiction will be made available at wellness centers and designated spaces across WeWork India locations. The kits will provide clinically backed tools for grounding, reflection, coping and recovery, allowing members to access information privately and at their own pace.

Amaha will also conduct specialized mental health de-escalation training for relevant WeWork India teams to help them recognize signs of mental health distress and respond appropriately. The program will offer members complimentary 30-minute, one-on-one Care Guidance sessions with Amaha clinicians.

Additional initiatives include The Open Room, a series of clinician-led discussions on neurodiversity, boundaries, caregiving, coping and stress. The partnership will also introduce Practice Labs featuring experiential sessions focused on mental health and well-being.

Dr. Amit Malik, founder and CEO of Amaha, said the organization's approach to workplace mental health has evolved since it began working with organizations in 2016. He noted that businesses are increasingly focusing on how to support employees, with the next challenge being the translation of this intent into accessible and meaningful care.

The partnership with WeWork India will bring Amaha's clinical expertise and professional care pathways closer to workplace communities, he added.

Debosmita Majumder, chief marketing officer at WeWork India, said workplace mental health initiatives need to extend beyond awareness and establish systems that make support accessible and timely. She highlighted employee well-being as an important factor in organizational resilience and long-term performance.

Through the initiative, WeWork India members will have access to mental health resources and professional guidance within the company's workspace ecosystem.
