AIG Hospitals Installs Advanced Digital Pathology Solutions from OptraSCAN

The objective is to facilitate sophisticated AI-driven analysis, optimise processes, and encourage inventive approaches within the pathology procedures of AIG Hospital.

The inauguration of AIG Hospitals' Pathology Department '“ Molecular division featured the unveiling of the OptraSCAN scanner OS-Ultra, marking an achievement in advancing their pathology practices.

Expressing thoughts on the same, Dr. Anuradha Sekaran, director and chief of pathology at AIG said, "It helps us optimize workload distribution, facilitate quick specialist opinions, enable remote case reviews, and simplify joint reviews during tumor board discussions. The main focus of digitizing pathology is to incorporate Artificial Intelligence into routine diagnostic work and promote research activities.
