The partnership aims to boost healthcare efficiency and effectiveness by integrating AI applications that streamline drug discovery and enhance patient care.
Yotta Data Services, a subsidiary of the Hiranandani Group, has entered into a strategic partnership with German firm Partex.
Partex is a digital pharma platform known for its AI-powered drug asset management and machine learning (ML) solutions.
Partex, renowned for its expertise in AI-driven healthcare solutions, will utilize Yotta's robust Shakti-Cloud platform, powered by Nvidia's advanced H100 GPU computing infrastructure.
This collaboration aims to leverage cutting-edge AI technologies to transform healthcare, particularly in drug discovery and patient care.
The partnership is set to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare services by integrating AI-based applications that streamline drug discovery processes and improve patient care outcomes.
Yotta's Shakti-Cloud platform provides comprehensive infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Platform as a Service (PaaS) solutions, including foundational AI models and applications.
Further, this setup will enable Partex to deliver its healthcare solutions across India, Europe, and globally, thereby democratizing access to AI-powered healthcare technologies.
Both Yotta and Partex will establish a dedicated cross-organizational unit to develop a joint go-to-market strategy.
In this collaboration, Partex will contribute its extensive healthcare domain expertise, while Yotta will contribute its advanced AI platform capabilities.
This synergy is expected to make AI-based healthcare solutions more accessible to a broader range of stakeholders within the healthcare ecosystem.
Gunjan Bhardwaj, cofounder and CEO of Partex, highlighted the significance of this partnership, stating, "Our collaboration with Yotta is a significant step towards integrating AI into healthcare, enabling drug discovery and other healthcare solutions at scale and low cost by providing specialized AI infrastructure to customers in India and worldwide."
Sunil Gupta, cofounder, MD, and CEO of Yotta, expressed enthusiasm about the collaboration and anticipated that it would usher in a new era of healthcare innovation.
"We are eager to embark on this journey, leveraging our scalable sovereign cloud, cutting-edge GPU technology, and AI compute platform services," he said.
Yotta is set to deploy one of the world's largest supercomputers, featuring an initial cluster of 16,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs, at its NM1 data center in Navi Mumbai.
This facility is renowned as Asia's largest Uptime Tier-IV data center. The company plans to expand further by establishing a similar cluster at D1, a hyper-scale data center in Greater Noida, near Delhi.
Yotta's Shakti-Cloud platform is designed to support the development of robust AI tools and products for Indian enterprises.
The platform's capabilities will be crucial in providing the necessary infrastructure for Partex's AI-driven healthcare applications, ensuring that these solutions can be delivered at scale and at lower costs.
This partnership aligns with India's growing emphasis on artificial intelligence, with the AI market projected to reach $14 billion by 2030. A recent report by PwC India underscores the transformative potential of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GenAI) in India's healthcare sector.
GenAI technologies, such as natural language processing and predictive analytics, offer real-time clinical support and personalized patient care, promising significant improvements in patient treatment efficiency.
The PwC report also notes the rapid growth of GenAI startups in India, which doubled between 2021 and 2023. However, it highlights the need for robust governance frameworks to address critical issues such as data privacy and security, ensuring the safe and effective integration of AI technologies in healthcare.
