This initiative aims to foster innovation and accelerate the development of groundbreaking AI technologies in healthcare.
As India's healthcare sector is set to reach $650 billion by 2025, according to a report by Nasscom and Kantar, and with AI's market poised to grow to $1.6 billion, there's an urgent need for innovative AI solutions to revolutionize healthcare delivery.
The PCIL aims to address this, offering startups a comprehensive support system.
The lab will grant access to patient data, operational workflows, and pilot programs in key areas such as patient interaction and insurance analysis.
Further, startups will benefit from expert feedback from the company's medical experts, operational staff, and technology teams, with performance benchmarked against traditional methods.
Additionally, mentorship from top leadership in healthcare, operations, and technology will be provided, along with networking opportunities with doctors, healthcare professionals, and industry leaders.
Startups will also be introduced to early-stage and angel investors within the company's network and will have access to an incubator that offers infrastructure and seed capital.
The lab will support startups with office space, technology resources, sales strategies, and market expansion, helping them to effectively scale their business.
Sharing thoughts, Harsimarbir Singh, Cofounder Pristyn Care, said, "We are excited to partner with AI startups to drive a revolution in Indian healthcare. By partnering with promising AI startups, we aim to foster innovation, accelerate the development of groundbreaking AI solutions, and address the pressing challenges facing Indian healthcare."
Last year, Pristyn Care introduced Mira.AI, an AI-powered trainer specifically designed to standardize and enhance healthcare professionals' training within Pristyn Care's network.
This advanced platform delivers engaging training modules across various medical categories to Pristyn Care's care coordinators, ensuring they possess the necessary skills and knowledge to provide standardized healthcare services.
