The healthcare provider announced a 100-bed expansion of its existing Palam Vihar hospital in Gurugram, extending the current 225-bed facility.
Park Medi World has announced an investment of INR 500 crore to expand its healthcare network and scale up its operational bed capacity to approximately 5,600 beds by the end of the fiscal year 2028.
As part of its expansion growth strategy, the healthcare provider announced a 100-bed expansion of its existing Palam Vihar hospital in Gurugram, extending the current 225-bed facility.
The new facility, Park Hospital Platinum, is being developed with an investment of INR 25 crore and is expected to be commissioned in November 2026.
Commenting on the expansion, Sudesh Sharma, Chief Financial Officer of Park Medi World, said, “We would end up this calendar year by commissioning nearly 1600 beds of capacity, both organic and inorganic combined. This hospital will significantly advance our agenda in the critical micro market of Palam Vihar.”
The Palam Vihar facility reported an occupancy of 86% for the financial year ended March 31, 2026.
The expansion will be funded through internal accruals of Umkal Health Care Private Limited and is expected to enhance its super-speciality capabilities, focusing on high-acuity disciplines to provide comprehensive tertiary care while addressing the region's demand for advanced healthcare services.
Following this expansion, Park Group's consolidated bed capacity across Gurugram will increase to 750 beds.
The Gurugram expansion forms part of the group’s broader growth strategy, combining both greenfield developments and acquisitions.
The healthcare provider plans to add 150 beds at its Mohali hospital by September 2027, another 200 beds at its Ambala facility by October 2027, and commission a new 250-bed greenfield hospital in Rohtak in January 2028.
In addition, it is working to operationalize a 200-bed hospital in Narela, Delhi, which was secured through an insolvency process.
Further, the group is also planning an asset-light 400-bed hospital in Gorakhpur, which is expected to commence operations by mid-2027, aimed at strengthening its presence in North India.
Currently, Park Group operates 16 hospitals with a combined capacity of 3,960 beds. The group is integrating four additional hospitals and expanding capacity at two existing units, which are expected to add 1,630 beds to the network. With these developments, the total capacity is estimated to reach 5,590 beds by March 2028.
As per the healthcare organisation, the 100-bed Palam Vihar expansion is expected to contribute around INR 20 crore in revenue during FY27, reflecting four months of operations.
As per market estimates, from FY28 onwards, the facility is expected to generate nearly INR 5.5 crore in monthly revenue while maintaining EBITDA margins of around 26%-27%, in line with the rest of the network. Park Medi World’s current market capitalisation is INR 12,949.29 crore.
