Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has inaugurated a newly constructed 300-bed district hospital in Indore, built for INR 83.13 Cr, reinforcing the state's efforts to expand modern public healthcare infrastructure.
The facility is expected to improve access to specialised treatment and diagnostic services for patients from Indore and neighbouring districts.
Addressing the inaugural programme, the Chief Minister said the newly constructed hospital would serve not only the residents of Indore but also people from surrounding districts by offering quality healthcare services.
CM Yadav said that the newly constructed district hospital is another significant addition to Indore's healthcare infrastructure. The state government is continuously expanding public amenities while ensuring quality in construction works. He expressed confidence that this hospital will provide better healthcare services to citizens.
Developed by the Madhya Pradesh Housing and Infrastructure Development Board, the G+4 hospital has been constructed on nearly 3.40 acres along Dhar Road, covering approximately two lakh square feet of built-up area.
The hospital houses outpatient services, medicine and surgery departments, operation theatres, gynaecology wards, paediatric services, a dialysis unit, a pathology laboratory, and a modern nursing call system.
The facility also includes digital diagnostic infrastructure with digital X-ray, CT scan, MRI and ultrasonography services.
According to the state government, gynaecology, MRI, CT scan, and X-ray services have already become operational, enabling patients to access advanced imaging and diagnostic support within the hospital.
