Medicover Hospitals Unveils a New 100-bed Women & Children Facility in Bengaluru
The integrated model is intended to support mothers and infants with healthcare services through a coordinated clinical system under the same roof.
Medicover Hospitals has launched a 100-bed specialised hospital for women and children in Bengaluru, expanding its healthcare footprint in the city’s maternal and pediatric care segment.
The newly inaugurated facility is designed to provide specialised comprehensive healthcare services focused on women’s health, maternity care, neonatal services, and pediatric treatment.
The integrated model is intended to support mothers and infants with healthcare services through a coordinated clinical system under the same roof.
The facility seeks to support continuity of care throughout pregnancy, delivery, neonatal care, and paediatric follow-ups.
It is equipped with advanced medical infrastructure, healthcare technology, and specialised clinical teams to provide comprehensive maternal and child healthcare services.
Commenting on the new launch, Medicover Hospitals Chairman and Managing Director Dr G. Anil Krishna said, “With this launch, we are bringing Medicover’s integrated, doctor-led model of perinatal and paediatric care, which has delivered strong outcomes across our existing units, to Karnataka.”
The hospital launch is part of Medicover Hospitals’ broader expansion strategy in southern India and aims to strengthen its footprint in Bengaluru’s healthcare ecosystem.
The new development follows the group’s earlier launch of the 550-bed healthcare facility in Hyderabad’s Financial District. The hospital features advanced medical technology, including a cardiac scan system that can complete heart scans in just five seconds.
The latest expansion also comes amid growing investments in specialised healthcare infrastructure in Bengaluru.
In a recent development, another prominent Healthcare entity in India, Rainbow Children’s Medicare, announced the expansion of its hospital network in Bengaluru with the launch of a new 60-bed hospital facility.
According to the company, the facility is intended to provide a wide range of women and child healthcare services, including obstetrics and gynaecology, neonatal and paediatric intensive care, 24x7 emergency services, and consultant-led speciality paediatric clinics.
