MAHE & IntelliDent AI Join Hands to Reinvent Oral Care with AI

This three-year partnership aims to accelerate AI-led solutions in oral healthcare through collaborative research, hands-on learning, and entrepreneurship.

IntelliDent, a Dubai-based healthtech innovator has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), India to accelerate advancements in AI-powered oral healthcare.

This three-year collaboration, led by MAHE’s Manipal College of Dental Sciences (MCODS), Mangalore, aims to foster joint research, education, and entrepreneurship in dental AI.

The partnership paves the way for academic-industry cooperation, driving innovation in dental AI and empowering students with the skills needed for tomorrow’s healthcare ecosystem.

The MoU was signed by Giridhar P Kini, registrar of MAHE, and Affaan Shaikh, with active engagement from academic and innovation stakeholders from both organizations.

The key pillars of this collaboration encompass joint research initiatives in AI-driven diagnostics, public health, and healthcare innovation, resulting in academic publications.

Additionally, MAHE students will also gain hands-on exposure through internships and mentorships at IntelliDent, guided by industry insights, guest lectures, and workshops.

The collaboration will include cohort-based learning modules and innovation hackathons designed to foster knowledge exchange among students.

Faculty, researchers, and industry professionals will also participate in these cross-training initiatives to support knowledge exchange and applied research.
