The new project, officially titled Jharkhand Action for Generating Responsive and Inclusive Transformation in Health Infrastructure (JAGRITI), will be implemented by the Jharkhand State Building Construction Corporation Limited on behalf of the Department of Health, Medical Education and Family Welfare.

The Government of India has applied for financing from the Asian Development Bank for the project.
