Infosys Acquires Optimum Healthcare to Strengthen Digital Healthcare Transformation Capabilities

The company also plans to combine Optimum’s capabilities with its own platforms, including Infosys Topaz and Infosys Cobalt, to accelerate end-to-end cloud, data, and digital transformation initiatives for healthcare clients.

Global IT firm Infosys has completed the acquisition of the US-based Optimum Healthcare IT, a health IT company focused on enabling digital transformation for healthcare provider organizations.

The latest development follows the earlier announcement made in March 2026 and aligns with Infosys ongoing efforts to expand digital healthcare capabilities in the global healthcare sector.

While the company has not officially disclosed financial details of the transaction, earlier reports estimated the deal to be valued at approximately $465 million.

The collaboration aims to strengthen Infosys’ presence in the healthcare provider segment, particularly across hospitals and health systems in the United States.

As per the company, the acquisition of Optimum Healthcare IT forms part of Infosys’ commitment to strengthening its healthcare capabilities, particularly in collaboration with health systems and provider organizations to deliver measurable outcomes across complex clinical and operational environments.

With this integration, Infosys seeks to expand its footprint in the provider segment, adding new clients and deepening relationships, and expanding technology capabilities.

The new addition is also expected to create synergies across new buyer segments within healthcare enterprises.

In addition, the company also plans to combine Optimum’s capabilities with its own platforms, including Infosys Topaz and Infosys Cobalt, to accelerate end-to-end cloud, data, and digital transformation initiatives.

The combined capabilities are intended to support AI-driven transformation programmes for healthcare providers through an integrated, end-to-end set of offerings, improve patient experiences through data-driven, personalized care, while driving greater operational efficiency and cost optimization.

Headquartered in Florida, Optimum Healthcare IT brings strong provider domain expertise and a scalable delivery model.

The company also maintains partnerships with leading enterprise platforms such as AWS, Workday Services, and Microsoft Azure.

The integration of Optimum Healthcare IT's specialized provider-domain expertise is expected to complement Infosys' broader AI-first value framework, which includes AI Trust, AI Strategy & Engineering, Data for AI, Process AI, Agentic Legacy Modernization, and Physical AI.
