The proposed facilities are to provide medical officers, nursing staff, essential medicines, diagnostic services and teleconsultations.

Gurugram has stepped up efforts to expand private-clinic enrolment under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), while a separate INR 26.20 crore work order aims to strengthen neighbourhood primary healthcare through 30 Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandirs.

The developments focus on expanding digital health participation and strengthening access to primary care.

At the workshop held on October 8 at the District Training Centre in Gurugram, the state ABDM team discussed registration requirements and the adoption of ABDM-compliant software.

Dr. Disha from the state ABDM team explained the role of ABHA accounts in linking health records and highlighted the importance of registering healthcare facilities and professionals.

Officials reported that Gurugram had achieved 100% HFR registration and 100% HPR registration among government-sector doctors. However, they called for wider participation from private healthcare providers.

The discussions also covered hospital information management systems and the secure exchange of digital health information.

Med Harbor Hospital and Raghav Diagnostics received certificates of appreciation for their progress in integrating digital health services.

Separately, Haryana Medical Services Corporation has issued a work order worth INR 26,20,80,000 for the establishment, operation and management of 30 Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandirs in Gurugram district.

ASR Hospitals (India) has been named as the operator for a two-year term from the agreement date.

The planned Gurugram health centres will serve urban communities, including low-income households and residents of slum settlements.

Locations identified in the announcement include Hira Nagar, Narsinghpur Dhani, Shivaji Nagar, Ghata village in Sector 56, DLF Phase 1, Sarhaul and Kanhai.

The proposed facilities are to provide medical officers, nursing staff, essential medicines, diagnostic services and teleconsultations.

Computerised registration, oxygen support and day-care beds are also specified in the work order, alongside provisions addressing staff shortages and failure to deliver required services.

However, the announcement does not specify when all 30 centres will begin receiving patients.

Together, the two developments highlight separate aspects of healthcare delivery in Gurugram: expanding digital integration among private providers and improving access to neighbourhood primary care through the planned health centres.
