Bristol Myers Squibb, Accenture launch AI-powered content hub ‘Mosaic’ in Mumbai
Described as an end-to-end generative AI-enabled platform, Mosaic is designed to support BMS’s commercialization strategy by strengthening its digital content capabilities.
Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), in partnership with Accenture, has launched an AI-powered content hub, ‘Mosaic’, in Mumbai as part of the biopharmaceutical company’s broader push to scale artificial intelligence across its commercial operations.
Described as an end-to-end generative AI-enabled platform, Mosaic is designed to support BMS’s commercialization strategy by strengthening its digital content capabilities.
The hub will use AI to identify physicians’ educational requirements in real time and enable the rapid development of patient-focused, customized content for healthcare professionals.
The facility was inaugurated by Adam Lenkowsky, Chief Commercialization Officer at Bristol Myers Squibb, and Ndidi Oteh, Global CEO of Accenture Song. According to the companies, Mosaic brings together creative teams and technologists to modernize how marketing and educational content is produced and distributed across BMS’s global markets.
Mosaic forms a central element of BMS’s ongoing $130 million investment in AI initiatives and AI-enabled capabilities within its marketing and commercialization functions. The company is deploying AI tools to improve efficiency, enhance data accessibility, support productivity, and strengthen decision-making across its global workforce.
India’s role in the initiative reflects its growing importance in BMS’s global operations. The company has maintained a commercial presence in India for more than 20 years, with therapeutic focus areas including oncology, hematology, and cardiology. Recently, BMS expanded its footprint with the inauguration of a large facility in Hyderabad that employs over 3,000 professionals across business insights and technology, global drug development, product development and supply, and enabling functions.
BMS executives said India’s digital talent base and collaborative ecosystem make it a suitable location for developing and scaling AI-driven solutions that can be deployed across international markets. The Mumbai-based hub is expected to contribute to global content workflows rather than serving only domestic requirements.
The Mosaic launch also builds on the long-standing relationship between BMS and Accenture, which spans more than 25 years. The partnership has evolved from traditional services to broader digital transformation initiatives, with AI now playing a central role in marketing and commercialization processes.
