The newly raised capital will support manufacturing expansion, additional regulatory approvals, international market entry, and workforce growth.

Bengaluru-based medical technology startup, Ayati Devices, has secured INR 15 Cr in a pre-Series A funding round led by Inflexor Ventures, strengthening its plans to expand manufacturing, accelerate AI-driven diagnostics, and increase its presence in global healthcare markets.

The investment marks the startup's first institutional funding as it prepares for the next phase of commercial growth.

Founded in 2019 by Nishant Kathpal, Ayati Devices develops portable diagnostic technologies designed to detect diabetic foot complications and peripheral vascular disease at an early stage.

The startup focuses on bringing screening closer to primary healthcare settings, enabling patients to be assessed before complications progress into ulcers, severe wounds, or amputations.

The startup's product portfolio includes Vibrasense for neuropathy screening, Vibrasense+T for assessing both large- and small-fibre nerve function, Vasosense for detecting peripheral artery disease, Angiocam for tissue perfusion imaging, and the PODIA Trolley, a pay-per-test screening platform.

Ayati serves hospitals, diabetes clinics, physicians, endocrinologists, diabetologists, and podiatrists through a business-to-business model.

"We are deploying this at the primary level so that the patients who are coming with diabetes can undergo the screening and can go for the checkup and, if required, can be referred to the higher specialist." - Nishant Kathpal, CEO & Co-Founder, Ayati Devices

Ayati is also integrating AI across its diagnostic ecosystem. "With the help of AI, we are giving an additional insight to the doctor."

Ayati Devices says it has deployed more than 10,000 devices across over 30 countries, with India accounting for most installations.

The company also has a presence in markets including Denmark and Spain and holds regulatory clearances from CDSCO, the US FDA, CE Mark, and authorities in Sri Lanka, Malaysia, and the UAE.

Beyond diabetic foot care, its technologies are also being explored for applications in wound care, plastic surgery, burn management, cardiovascular diagnostics, and reconstructive medicine.

The newly raised capital will also support manufacturing expansion, additional regulatory approvals, international market entry, and workforce growth.

Kathpal said the long-term vision is to create a unified intelligence layer capable of combining information on nerve function, blood flow, tissue perfusion, and biomechanics to support risk prediction and personalised follow-up.
