Avio Smart Market Stack (formerly Bartronics India) has announced plans to explore a potential collaboration with Mediciti Institute of Medical Sciences (MIMS), Hyderabad, focused on research, clinical validation, and adoption of advanced molecular diagnostic technologies.
The diagnostic company has initiated talks with MIMS, featuring Huwel Lifesciences' indigenous molecular diagnostic technologies aimed at improving disease detection and healthcare outcomes.
The discussions brought together leadership teams, clinicians, researchers, and academic experts to examine how innovative molecular diagnostic solutions can strengthen disease detection, improve clinical decision-making, and enhance healthcare outcomes across India.
As part of the discussion, Huwel Lifesciences showcased its comprehensive portfolio of indigenous molecular diagnostic technologies, including solutions for tuberculosis, multidrug-resistant tuberculosis (MDR-TB), sepsis, HPV screening, hepatitis, antimicrobial resistance (AMR) detection, respiratory diseases, and environmental surveillance.
In addition, the company highlighted its fully integrated diagnostics ecosystem, combining assay development, reagent manufacturing, instrumentation, software, and data management.
The platform is designed to deliver scalable and affordable diagnostic solutions for healthcare providers.
Both organisations explored avenues for collaborative research, clinical validation studies, real-world evidence generation, and opportunities to adopt and deploy Huwel's diagnostic technologies within Mediciti's healthcare ecosystem.
Further, the discussion also explored the possibility of pilot programmes and product evaluations across selected departments to assess their impact on routine diagnostic workflows.
