ZenMD has launched operations in India with an AI-powered clinical intelligence platform to help clinicians streamline clinical workflows and improve patient care.
The platform is designed for Indian clinical settings and offers an integrated AI-powered ecosystem that includes documentation, diagnostics, and clinical decision support.
Founded by Rithika Reddy and Pranav Reddy, ZenMD is an India-focused AI healthcare startup that develops clinical intelligence solutions and evidence-based clinical decision support for hospitals, clinics, and healthcare professionals.
The newly launched platform is intended to reduce time and improve accuracy while enabling doctors to focus more on patient care.
ZedMD introduces four core products, including ZenScribe, ZenNotes, ZenConsult, and ZenScan.
The suite seeks to address key challenges faced by healthcare professionals in high-volume clinical environments by combining workflow management and clinical-grade validation into a single platform tailored for Indian use cases, including multilingual support and specialty-specific intelligence.
In addition, the platform features advanced capabilities, including real-time voice-to-clinical documentation, automated OPD notes, evidence-based clinical decision support, and AI-powered medical imaging analysis.
As per the company, the platform supports more than 80 medical specialities and functions as a “clinical intelligence layer” designed to be integrated into existing hospital and clinic workflows.
Commenting on the new development, Rithika Reddy, Founder and CEO of ZenMD, said, “We built ZenMD to act as a reliable clinical co-pilot—one that understands the nuances of Indian healthcare and supports doctors at the point of care. Our goal is to bring both speed and safety into every patient interaction.”
The startup has also introduced DrGPT, a browser-based clinical AI assistant for doctors, medical students, and nurses in India to streamline clinical workflow.
As per the startup, its proprietary hallucination correction layer is intended to verify AI-generated responses before reaching clinicians, with a focus on improving trust and reliability in healthcare AI-based apps.
Reportedly, the platform has recorded more than 60,000 users and 90,000 page views within the initial weeks of its rollout across hospitals, teaching institutions, and medical professionals.
Speaking about the company’s Pranav Reddy, Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer, ZenMD said, “Our focus has always been on building something that doctors can rely on during critical moments, whether it’s a quick clinical query, documentation in a busy OPD, or interpreting diagnostic data. ZenMD is designed to fit naturally into existing workflows, not disrupt them.”
