The startup said the newly raised capital will be used for marketing, scaling manufacturing operations, expanding research activities, and supporting its planned global Kickstarter launch scheduled for May 2026.

Sychedelic has raised $3.5 million (approximately Rs 31.5 crore) in a seed funding round led by TurboStart, Ideabaaz, and Praveek Ventures, along with participation from angel investors across India, the UAE, and the non-resident Indian (NRI) community.

The startup said the newly raised capital will be used for marketing, scaling manufacturing operations, expanding research activities, and supporting its planned global Kickstarter launch scheduled for May 2026.

Founded by Ria Rustagi and Bhavya, Sychedelic is developing what it describes as a closed-loop neuromodulation wearable in a headphone form factor designed for everyday consumer use.

The device combines neurostimulation technologies, biometric tracking, and adaptive artificial intelligence to monitor and respond to users’ mental states in real time.

According to the company, the wearable integrates technologies including transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS), binaural beats, and heart rate variability (HRV) biofeedback. The platform is designed to deliver personalized neuroadaptive experiences focused on stress management, sleep support, focus enhancement, and mental wellness.

Sychedelic said more than 100 early adopters have used the device over the past six months, allowing the company to refine its hardware systems, stimulation protocols, and AI-driven adaptive algorithms using real-world usage data.

The startup has also received approval from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organisation, granting the product medical device status in India. In addition, the company said it has filed multiple global patent applications, which are currently under patent-pending status.

Sychedelic currently operates across India and the United States as it prepares for international market expansion.
