US-based Healthtech and wearable company, WHOOP, has announced new updates to its health monitoring platform, including on-demand clinician access and additional artificial intelligence-based features integrated into its wearable ecosystem.

The new suite of enhancements is aimed at enhancing access to licensed healthcare professionals through virtual consultations.

The update also includes AI-supported health insights designed to provide users with information related to recovery, sleep, strain, and overall wellness metrics collected through WHOOP wearable devices.

The new feature seeks to bridge the gap between biometric data collection and expert interpretation by enabling members to connect directly with clinicians within the WHOOP app.

These consultations will provide a comprehensive understanding of the member’s health, based on months of continuous data, bloodwork, and medical history.

As part of the initiative, Whoop has also partnered with HealthEx to integrate EHR into the platform.

The collaboration is aimed at enabling users to track diagnoses, medications, and procedures directly within the Whoop app and receive AI-powered personalized coaching and proactive check-in reminders.

This added layer of context is expected to further enhance the ability to deliver precise, individualized recommendations.

By leverging the existing data, the feature will provide members with a deeper understanding of medications, conditions, and procedures' impact on recovery, strain, and overall performance.

This integration is expected to reduce the need for manual tracking or fragmented systems and provide a seamless, secure experience built directly into the WHOOP platform.

In addition has also announced the launch of two meaningful AI advancements, including My Memory and Proactive Check-Ins.

My Memory is designed to provide members with a centralized place to view, manage, and shape the WHOOP A.I. layer and personalized coaching. The feature will enable users to add, edit, or delete personal context to ensure insights reflect real-world circumstances and evolving goals.

Furthermore, the Proactive Check-Ins feature is intended to deliver timely, personalized automated recommendations based on user activity, travel, sleep, and recovery patterns, which is expected to reduce the need for manual output.
