Thyrocare Unveils Advanced Genomics Lab in Navi Mumbai

In a move to expand its diagnostics portfolio, the Navi Mumbai-based diagnostics company, Thyrocare, has launched an advanced genomic laboratory in Navi Mumbai.

The newly introduced facility is equipped with advanced next-generation sequencing technologies, supported by robust bioinformatics and data interpretation capabilities.

The lab is intended to provide a broader range of genomics-based diagnostic services and has been designed for high-throughput genomic analysis to ensure accurate, consistent, and scalable testing while maintaining high standards of reporting.

Commenting on the new facility, Rahul Guha, MD & CEO, Thyrocare and API Holdings, said, “The launch of our genomics laboratory marks a significant step forward in this journey, as we expand into advanced, high-impact areas of testing. By integrating Thyrocare’s scale, automation, and strong credibility in routine diagnostics, the initiative seeks to enable access to high-quality and affordable speciality testing across India.

Further, the new genomics laboratory is designed to support precision diagnostics and help strengthen predictive and preventive healthcare approaches by enabling earlier disease detection and improved clinical decision-making.

Furthermore, the initiative is supported by a newly onboarded specialised on-ground team, which is expected to ensure seamless delivery and accelerate the adoption of these advanced testing capabilities.

In an earlier development, the diagnostic platform opened its first diagnostic laboratory in Gwalior, aimed at expanding its presence in Madhya Pradesh and improving access to affordable diagnostics in the region.
