In her new role, Scott will oversee the hospital's operations, focusing on enhancing physician and associate engagement, operational efficiency, and strategic care delivery.

Ascension Providence, part of the Ascension network, operates multiple care sites, including hospitals and outpatient centers in Waco, Texas.

Katie Scott brings a wealth of experience in healthcare leadership, having previously served as Chief Nursing Officer and Interim COO at Dell Seton Medical Center in Austin, part of the Ascension network. Her extensive background in nursing leadership and operations has positioned her as an ideal fit for the role at Ascension Providence.

In a statement regarding her appointment, Scott emphasized her dedication to improving the healthcare experience for both patients and clinicians.
