Star Health & Medi Assist Launches AI-Led Claims Platform

Under the partnership, Star Health will adopt Medi Assist’s AI-powered MAtrix platform to streamline claims settlement and reduce waste and abuse through AI tools.
Star Health and Allied Insurance, a leading standalone health insurer, has partnered with Medi Assist Healthcare Services, a provider of AI-powered claims management platforms, to upgrade its claims management using advanced technology.
As a part of this collaboration, Star Health will adopt Medi Assist’s MAtrix platform, an AI-powered digital claims platform designed to streamline and accelerate claims settlement.
MAtrix will also enable co-working and AI co-pilot support, allowing Star Health Insurance's claims teams to make faster and more informed decisions.
The platform will also enhance the Company's ability to prevent fraud through advanced AI and machine learning tools, thereby protecting the integrity of the claims process.
The use of the platform will introduce intelligent automation, reduce manual steps, and streamline workflows, enabling stronger turnaround performance across the company’s network.

Additionally, Star Health stated that the partnership will enable real-time data exchange with stakeholders, including hospitals and the National Health Claims Exchange (NHCX), through a unified API architecture, thereby enhancing overall stakeholder connectivity.
