Sri Sri Holistic Hospitals Launches India’s First Pulse Field Ablation Technology for Advanced Arrhythmia Care
The technology incorporates the CARTO ELEVATE Module and Enhanced CONFIDENSE mapping capabilities to improve workflow efficiency and mapping accuracy during electrophysiology interventions.
Sri Sri Holistic Hospitals, Hyderabad, has introduced India’s first Pulse Field Ablation Technology integrated with the CARTO 3 System Version 8 and CARTO ELEVATE™ Module for the treatment of complex cardiac arrhythmias.
The integrated system is designed to support treatment for atrial fibrillation, ventricular tachycardia, atrial flutter, and other complex arrhythmias by enabling highly detailed patient-specific cardiac mapping and improved signal identification during procedures.
According to the hospital, the technology allows for faster and minimally invasive procedures with reduced discomfort and the possibility of same-day discharge for suitable patients.
The technology also incorporates the CARTO ELEVATE Module and Enhanced CONFIDENSE mapping capabilities to improve workflow efficiency and mapping accuracy during electrophysiology interventions.
Prof. Dr V. S. Ramchandra, Chief of Cardiology & Electrophysiology, and Chairman, Sri Sri Holistic Hospitals, said, “The introduction of India’s first Pulse Field Ablation technology integrated with the CARTO 3 System Version 8 is a transformative step in electrophysiology care. This advanced platform enables highly precise, faster, and safer treatment for complex arrhythmias with improved workflow efficiency and patient outcomes.”
Pulse Field Ablation has emerged internationally as a next-generation alternative that uses targeted electrical pulses to treat abnormal heart tissue while minimizing damage to surrounding structures.
In recent years, hospitals and electrophysiology centres in the United States and Europe have increasingly adopted PFA technology due to its precision, safety profile, and procedural efficiency.
