Charnock Hospitals has partnered with global medtech giant Philips to strengthen healthcare infrastructure across its existing and upcoming facilities in West Bengal.

The collaboration will focus on the deployment of integrated medical technologies, critical care solutions, and digitally enabled healthcare systems to support healthcare delivery across the hospital network.

Under a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), the two organisations will collaborate on deploying healthcare technologies across areas including radiology, cardiology, patient monitoring, and enterprise informatics.

This initiative aims to enhance patient care while supporting more consistent and scalable healthcare delivery.

Through this collaboration, Philips will install medical equipment worth INR 100 crore at Charnock Hospital while supporting the deployment of integrated, digitally enabled healthcare solutions.

The deployment will cover critical care solutions, diagnostic imaging and cardiology technologies, including radiology, MRI, CT, sonography, PET-CT, and cardiology, including cath labs and ECG

Commenting on the partnership, Bharath Sesha, Managing Director, Philips Indian Subcontinent, said, “As healthcare capacity grows, the focus must also be on how that capacity is built through connected care environments where technology, data, and clinical expertise come together. Our partnership with Charnock Hospitals is built around this approach, bringing technology and clinical needs together from the outset to create a strong foundation for delivering consistent care as the network grows.”

As part of the collaboration, Charnock Hospitals is set to invest INR 100 crore with Philips over one year towards advanced medical equipment, according to Prashant Sharma, Managing Director, Charnock Hospitals.

The investment will include both equipment purchases and leasing arrangements, covering technologies required across diagnostic imaging and clinical care.

Furthermore, both organisations also intend to explore joint training and development initiatives to strengthen the capabilities of the healthcare workforce.

Speaking on the partnership, Prashant Sharma, Managing Director, Charnock Hospitals, said, “As we expand our healthcare footprint, our priority is to build hospitals that deliver consistent, high-quality experiences for patients and clinicians alike. This requires strong technology integration and a partner who understands how healthcare systems need to scale. Our partnership with Philips reflects a shared intent to build future-ready hospitals that are efficient, connected, and centered around patient care.”
