Philips will also supply selected medical technologies across the BIHS network, including the MR BlueSeal helium-free MRI system with Dual AI SmartSpeed and In-Bore Experience.
Philips and Bajaj Integrated Health System (BIHS) have partnered to create an integrated Connected Healthcare Delivery network across India, with Philips' IntelliBridge Enterprise platform enabling seamless patient data exchange between hospitals, clinics, ambulatory services and home care.
The first BIHS network is scheduled to become operational in 2026, with expansion planned across major Indian cities in the coming years.
IntelliBridge Enterprise functions as an interoperability platform that connects medical devices with hospital information systems, bringing together relevant patient information into a single, unified view for authorised healthcare professionals.
By enabling uninterrupted data flow between home care, clinics, ambulatory services and hospitals, the platform is expected to support faster clinical decision-making, reduce duplication of information, simplify care transitions and improve care coordination throughout a patient's treatment journey.
The implementation will also mark the first global deployment of Philips' IntelliBridge Enterprise 3.0 Enterprise Cloud platform, making BIHS the first healthcare network worldwide to adopt the latest cloud-based version of the technology.
Bharath Sesha, Managing Director, Philips Indian Subcontinent, said, "Through our IntelliBridge Enterprise platform, we are enabling an integrated flow of patient information across the BIHS network, supporting better clinical decisions and improving efficiency."
Nirav Bajaj, CEO and Managing Director, Bajaj Integrated Health System, said, "As we build out our network, the focus is on ensuring that care is integrated from the start, so that whether a patient enters through a clinic, a hospital or at home, the experience remains connected, coordinated and centred around their needs. Our collaboration with Philips brings in the digital backbone needed to enable seamless data flow across care settings, which is critical to delivering this integrated model."
Alongside the digital integration platform, Philips will also supply selected medical technologies across the BIHS network.
These include the MR BlueSeal helium-free MRI system with Dual AI SmartSpeed and In-Bore Experience, designed to improve imaging performance, patient comfort and operational sustainability while strengthening healthcare infrastructure for the future.
