The latest partnership seeks to combine the foundation’s community outreach with the advanced clinical expertise of the super-speciality hospital to deliver high-quality healthcare services across the region.

People's Hut Foundation (PHF) and SEDNA Super Speciality Hospital (SSSH), Jammu, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) aimed at improving healthcare accessibility and strengthening healthcare delivery across the region.

The latest partnership seeks to combine the foundation’s community outreach with the advanced clinical expertise of the super-speciality hospital to deliver high-quality healthcare services across the region.

Under the partnership, both organisations will facilitate joint initiatives focused on expanding access to quality healthcare services, promoting preventive healthcare, and enhancing health awareness among the public.

The collaboration is designed to bridge gaps in healthcare access by combining the Sedna Super Speciality Hospital’s advanced clinical infrastructure with the foundation's grassroots community engagement network.

The partnership is also expected to support efforts to improve healthcare affordability and encourage early disease detection through preventive care initiatives.

The collaboration also includes medical camps, health screening programmes, awareness drives, and specialised care initiatives aimed at strengthening patient outcomes and healthcare delivery across the region.

The MoU was formally signed at Sedna Super Speciality Hospital by Dr. Rohit Koul, Director and CEO of People's Hut Foundation, and Dr Tabinda Qazi, CEO of Sedna Super Speciality Hospital.

Commenting on the initiative, Dr Tabinda Qazi, CEO of Sedna Super Speciality Hospital, said, "This collaboration marks a pivotal moment in our mission to extend world-class healthcare beyond the walls of our hospital."

Last year, the Government of Jammu & Kashmir announced a significant expansion of telemedicine services across the Union Territory, aimed at improving access to medical care in remote and hard‑to‑reach areas.

The initiative is intended to reduce the need for patients to travel long distances for consultations, particularly during the winter months when road access can be restricted.
