Paras Health Opens Paras MedCentre in Mohali to Strengthen its Presence
The center is expected to improve access to timely and affordable care for residents of Mohali and surrounding suburban areas, particularly for patients requiring continuous monitoring or regular follow-ups.
Paras Health has launched its first Paras MedCentre in Mohali, aimed at expanding its footprint in the region and strengthening community-based healthcare delivery.
The center is expected to provide consultations by experienced specialists, diagnostics, and follow-up care, with support from visiting doctors from Paras Health Panchkula.
It is designed to bring routine and advanced healthcare services closer to patients and the community, reducing the need for long-distance travel or frequent hospital visits.
The center aims to improve access to timely and affordable care for residents of Mohali and surrounding suburban areas, particularly for patients requiring continuous monitoring or regular follow-ups.
Alongside general consultations, it is also expected to provide access to specialized care across multiple disciplines, including Oncoscience, CTVS, Neurosciences, Gastrosciences, Pulmonology, Gynaecology & IVF, General Surgery, Renal Science, Nephrology, Spine Surgery, Internal Medicine, and Infectious Disease.
By enabling early diagnosis and ongoing care management, the MedCenter aims to improve clinical outcomes while strengthening healthcare accessibility at the community level.
Commenting on the new launch, Paras Health Group COO, Vineet Aggarwal, said, “The launch of our first Paras MedCenter in Mohali marks an important step in Paras Health’s journey towards decentralised and patient-first healthcare delivery. Our focus is on bringing specialist consultations closer to where patients live, making care more accessible, convenient, and continuous.”
“This model will help us strengthen our presence in high-growth regions like the Tricity while addressing evolving healthcare needs at the community level,” he added.
In a recent development, the healthcare giant announced plans to build a 300-bed hospital in Gurugram and a 500-bed facility in Ludhiana, collectively adding about 800 beds over the next few years, as it aims to scale its total capacity to nearly 3,000 beds by 2029.
The new facility was inaugurated in the presence of Vineet Aggarwal, Group COO, Paras Health; Dr Pankaj Mittal, Facility Director, Paras Health, Panchkula; and senior consultants from the organization.
