P-Cure & ARISTION Join Hands to Develop India's first Compact Proton Therapy Network

ARISTION plans to develop dedicated proton therapy infrastructure across the country with a long-term investment of approximately INR 1,900 crore

Israeli medical technology company P-Cure and Indian healthcare company ARISTION Proton Center have signed a binding agreement to deploy P-Cure's compact, synchrotron-based proton therapy systems in India.

The agreement marks the first deployment of P-Cure's ultracompact proton therapy system in India.

The initiative forms a part of ARISTION’s plans to develop dedicated proton therapy infrastructure across the country with a long-term investment of approximately INR 1,900 crore.

As per the company, the planned investment is intended to fund an integrated network of centres rather than standalone machine installations, with affordability and geographic access positioned at the centre of the model.

The agreement will bring together P-Cure's proton therapy technology with ARISTION's clinical and operational leadership to bring proton & ion precision treatment within the physical, geographic, and financial reach of ordinary Indian families.

The first centre will be established at Sentient Health City, Bengaluru, ARISTION's flagship 660-bed quaternary campus built around integrated artificial intelligence and augmented care solutions, followed by centres in Kochi and a third major metropolitan city.

Together, the three centres form the initial phase of a wider national proton therapy network.

Speaking on the development, Dr Lohith G Reddy, CMD & Radiation Oncologist, ARISTION Proton Center, said, “India already delivers world-class medical care. What has been missing is proton & ion precision treatment at the scale a nation of 1.4 billion deserves, which is the opportunity this partnership unlocks. P-Cure’s compact system gives us the economics to build not one showpiece facility but a national network, delivering the world’s most advanced radiation therapy at a cost structure Indian patients can actually access. Sentient Health City in Bengaluru is the first of three centres and the platform for what comes next.”

As per reports, ARISTION is currently seeking a joint venture partner for the Kochi centre while evaluation of locations and partners for the third proton centre is underway.

P-Cure’s system uses a compact, synchrotron-based architecture designed to reduce the physical footprint and infrastructure requirements typically associated with proton therapy facilities.

The approach is intended to reduce capital and operating requirements compared with conventional proton therapy facilities.

Across the planned network, ARISTON will integrate an AI and augmented intelligence layer to support care hospital operations, clinical workflows, and patient experience.

Surgy. Health, a next-generation AI operational layer for hospitals, will serve as the AI technology partner for the ARISTON group, supporting applications across these areas.
