Medical Device Manufacturer Romsons Group Partners with Temasek to Support Global Expansion
Through the new investment, the medical device company seeks to focus on strengthening its core business and investing in products, manufacturing, technology, and talent.
India-based medical devices manufacturer Romsons Group has completed a strategic private equity transaction with Singapore-headquartered global investment firm Temasek.
Under the transaction, Temasek has joined Romsons as a long-term strategic partner through a minority investment. The financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed
The partnership brings together Romsons’ strong Indian healthcare platform and operating capabilities with Temasek’s global experience and long-term investment perspective.
According to Romsons, the partnership goes beyond a capital investment and is aimed at supporting long-term growth for Romsons.
As part of the partnership, Romsons and Temasek will also evaluate strategic partnerships and acquisitions in India and overseas where these are aligned with the company’s objectives.
The company stated the partnership will also place greater emphasis on governance, institutional processes and execution as it scales its operations.
Through the new investment, the medical device company seeks to focus on strengthening its core business and investing in products, manufacturing, technology, and talent.
Further, the company also plans to expand its presence across Indian and international markets while enhancing its product portfolio.

Founded in 1952, Romsons manufactures and sells medical devices and personal care and hygiene products in India and international markets. Its portfolio covers areas including anaesthesia, urology, surgery, transfusion, gastroenterology, cardiac, and patient care.
Currently, the company has a presence across more than 80 countries and has over 1,500 distributors.
The latest development follows reports from October 2025 that Temasek had entered exclusive talks to acquire a 15-20% minority stake in Romsons at a valuation of around $1 billion.
