Max Hospital Saket Adds 400 Beds with Technology-Enabled Expansion, Takes Capacity to 1,200

Alongside additional beds, the facility incorporates advanced medical technologies designed to support precision-led and minimally invasive procedures.

Max Smart Super Speciality Hospital, Saket, has added 400 beds through a new tower inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah, taking its total capacity to approximately 1,200 beds.

The expansion combines additional capacity with advanced, technology-enabled care across more than 22 specialities.

Max Healthcare currently operates 21 facilities with more than 6,100 beds and has set a target of reaching 10,000 beds over the next three to four years.

The new tower is intended to strengthen access to specialised healthcare for patients from Delhi-NCR and other parts of the country.

Alongside additional beds, the facility incorporates advanced medical technologies designed to support precision-led and minimally invasive procedures.

The technologies add robotic-assisted capabilities to the hospital’s clinical infrastructure, supporting surgical procedures across relevant specialties.

These include the Da Vinci Xi Surgical Robot and the Mako Total Knee Replacement Robot.

“This state-of-the-art new facility brings together cutting-edge technology, world-class infrastructure and exceptional Indian clinical talent to deliver advanced, high-quality patient care to people from India and across the globe,” said Abhay Soi, Chairman and Managing Director, Max Healthcare Institute.

The group has also announced plans for an 800-bed multi-speciality hospital in Gujarat, with further expansion planned across Gandhinagar and Surat.

Beyond hospital capacity, Max Healthcare said it treated more than 40 lakh patients from over 800 cities and 180 countries in the last financial year. The organisation also reported providing free treatment worth INR 244 Cr to 3.60 lakh patients during the year.

The group’s healthcare ecosystem includes hospitals, home care and pathology services, as well as medical education and training through the Max Institute of Medical Sciences.

The latest Saket expansion therefore adds not only physical capacity but also further technology-enabled infrastructure to Max Healthcare’s growing clinical network.

The inauguration was attended by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta as Guest of Honour, along with Delhi Health and Family Welfare, Transport and Information Technology Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh and South Delhi MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri.
