Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Limited (KIMS) has announced plans to develop a new 500-bed multi-specialty hospital in Amaravati.

As per reports, the institution has secured a long-term lease for 2 acres of land from the Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA), committing to a 60-year agreement that underscores its dedication to enhancing healthcare infrastructure in the region.

The new facility aims to provide high-quality tertiary and quaternary healthcare services, including critical care and organ transplant procedures. This expansion is designed to meet the growing demand for advanced medical care, enabling local residents to access specialized treatments without the need to travel to larger metropolitan areas.

The proposed hospital will feature a wide array of clinical services, including:

- Cardiology and Neurosciences

- Oncology and Gastroenterology

- Orthopedics and Organ Transplants

- Critical Care and Maternal & Child Health

By establishing this new hospital, KIMS Hospitals intends to bridge the gap in specialized healthcare access for the residents of Amaravati and the surrounding districts.

Equipped with the latest medical technology, the facility will enhance local healthcare offerings, aligning with KIMS's broader strategy to expand its footprint in underserved markets and ensure that specialized medical expertise is more readily available to those in need.
