The startup plans to use the capital to expand its AI-assisted autism and developmental screening platform across India.

Jaipur-based healthtech startup Aignosis has raised INR 4 crore in a seed round led by Antler, Nikhil Kamath, and angel investors including Varun Dua and IIMA Ventures.

The startup plans to use the capital to expand its AI-assisted autism and developmental screening platform across India.

Speaking on the new funding, Raksheet Jain, Co-founder, Aignosis said, “This funding marks a shift for Aignosis from building and validating the technology to taking it into the healthcare system at scale. Our focus now is to make autism screening more accessible, strengthen the referral pathway around it, and build a model that can work across both public and private healthcare settings.”

Founded by Raksheet Jain and Divyansh Mangal, Aignosis raised its first round in 2024 from investors including Rajneesh Bhandari and Amit Jain. Aignosis’s system is designed to provide an initial screening layer for child development using a standard laptop and webcam for children aged 16 months to nine years.

During the screening process, a short video built around nine stimulus modules is analysed using computer vision to assess behavioural signals, including gaze, response to name, and reactions to facial expressions.

The system generates a risk report indicating whether a child may require formal clinical assessment and is not intended to provide a diagnosis.

It currently operates through a Clinic-in-Clinic model enabling paediatricians to incorporate developmental screening into their existing practices rather than deploying the technology as a standalone device.

According to the startup, its technology has been evaluated against established clinical assessments and expert judgement.

The startup has deployed across more than 20 government Primary Health Centres in Rajasthan.

It has also partnered with Mankind Pharma, whose medical representatives are supporting screening camps with paediatricians across India.

Further, the startup plans to begin operations with Apollo Shines across around 125 schools.

The startup has reportedly completed more than 8,000 screenings to date and plans to conduct at least 1 lakh screenings by the end of FY27.

It further plans to expand into Punjab, NCR, Haryana, Tamil Nadu, Jharkhand, Karnataka, and Maharashtra, while advancing screening and referral access across government and private healthcare networks.

Commenting on the development, Nikhil Kamath, one of the investors, said. “Most healthcare innovation in India is built for the top of the pyramid and never leaves it. Aignosis is going the other way, starting in government health centres and small clinics, not private hospitals in metros. That's distribution thinking that actually moves the needle at scale.”
