The Bengaluru-based startup plans to use the capital to expand its network of child-focused clinics, enhance its technology platform and scale its integrated paediatric care services across key Indian cities.

The $5 Mn funding round was led by Peak XV’s Surge, with participation from existing investor W Health Ventures and angel investors including Ashish Gupta, Abhishek Goyal and Bijou Kurien.

Hoola Health is a full-stack pediatric service with offline primary-care clinics supplemented by 24x7 AI-assisted access to a team of doctors and a focus on underpenetrated specialities for holistic child development, including behavioural health.

Deeksha Senguttuvan, Founder, Hoola Health, said, “Paediatric care in India has been fragmented for too long. Parents don’t want to navigate a hospital for every vaccination, fever, or developmental concern. We’re building neighbourhood clinics where clinical excellence and a human experience go hand in hand.”

Formerly known as BabyMD, the startup was founded to address longstanding gaps in paediatric healthcare delivery. Hoola Health aims to bring together consultations, vaccinations, diagnostics, developmental therapies and specialist support under one coordinated care model.

Since launching its first clinic in 2024, Hoola Health has grown to five centres in Bengaluru and has served more than 20,000 families within 18 months.

Over the next two years, Hoola Health intends to add 30 clinics across Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Delhi NCR, while initially focusing on deepening its presence in Bengaluru before entering additional markets.
