The startup aims to make oncology services more accessible and affordable, with further plans to establish nearly 100 centres across India over the next five years.

Gurugram-based oncology-focused healthtech startup OnCare has launched a new cancer treatment centre in Bengaluru aimed at expanding its footprint in Karnataka as part of its strategy to improve access to oncology services across India.

The latest launch follows the company's earlier operations in the Delhi-NCR region.

Founded in 2023 by former Pristyn Care executives Amar Sneh and Deepak Kumar, OnCare is an oncology-focused healthtech startup that operates a distributed oncology care platform focused on providing affordable and standardised cancer treatment.

Its model brings together medical, surgical, and radiation oncology services through accredited hospitals under a capital-efficient structure.

With the new initiative, the startup aims to make oncology services more affordable and strengthen the availability of cancer care across India.

As part of its growth strategy, it further plans to establish nearly 100 centres across India over the next five years.

To support the expansion, the startup has earmarked an investment of INR 15 crore for its Bangalore and Delhi NCR operations.

Commenting on the launch, Deepak Kumar, Founder of OnCare, said, “Our goal has always been to ensure that no cancer patient has to struggle unnecessarily to access quality treatment.”

He further added, “Cancer treatment is already physically and emotionally demanding. The healthcare system should not make it harder. We built OnCare to offer expert-led, compassionate, and accessible care that puts patients and families first.”

The Bengaluru centre will offer services including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, oncology consultations, treatment planning, supportive care and patient navigation programmes.

The facility is aimed at addressing the growing demand for specialised cancer care in Karnataka and neighbouring regions.

Earlier this year, the oncology care platform raised INR 27 crore in a Series A funding round led by Sky Impact Capital to scale its cancer care network across India, particularly in Tier-2 and Tier-3 cities, with a focus on streamlining clinical operations and enhancing care coordination.
