Fischer Medical Subsidiary to Supply 250 AI-Enabled Portable X-Ray Systems to Indonesia

The deployment equips Indonesia with AI-enabled portable X-ray systems that feature real-time triage, automated abnormality detection, and cloud-based reporting, expanding access to rapid diagnostic imaging across remote and underserved regions.

Fischer Medical Ventures has announced that its subsidiary, Time Medical International, has secured an order to supply 250 AI-enabled portable X-ray systems to Indonesia, marking one of the company’s largest international deployments of diagnostic imaging units.

The portable X-ray systems are equipped with AI-assisted image processing, radiation-dose optimization, and cloud-based reporting capabilities, designed to strengthen diagnostic access in remote and underserved regions of Indonesia.

The units support point-of-care imaging in emergency medicine, infectious disease screening, community health programmes, and mobile care settings.

Senior leadership from Fischer Medical stated that the expansion reflects growing demand for affordable, high-performance imaging platforms as healthcare systems increase investment in digital diagnostics and mobile radiology infrastructure across Asia.

R. S. Iyer, Director, Fischer Medical Ventures, noted, “This order reinforces the adoption of portable, AI-integrated X-ray solutions in emerging health systems and supports Indonesia’s nationwide efforts to expand accessible diagnostic imaging.”

Technical teams from Time Medical International highlighted that the new systems incorporate real-time AI triage, automated abnormality flagging, and seamless PACS connectivity, enabling faster clinical decision-making in low-resource environments.

According to the company, the platform is engineered to deliver high-quality imaging in field conditions, supporting clinicians with AI-based decision support and rapid deployment workflows.”

The agreement is expected to strengthen Fischer Medical’s operational footprint in Southeast Asia, with additional opportunities emerging across digital radiology deployments, Teleradiology ecosystems and AI-based diagnostic programmes.

Additionally, the company is coordinating with Indonesian health authorities and partner institutions to facilitate phased delivery and on-site clinical integration.
