Delhi’s Moolchand Hospital Launches AI SAGE, an AI-Powered Unified Conversational Analytics Platform
The platform includes 14 AI-powered modules covering clinical care, hospital operations, quality management, patient safety, pharmacy, laboratory services, emergency care, and operating theatre management.
Moolchand Hospital has launched AI SAGE (Smart Analytics and Guidance Engine), an AI-powered unified conversational analytics platform that enables clinicians and hospital teams to access clinical and operational information through natural-language queries.
By allowing users to ask questions in natural language instead of navigating dashboards or generating manual reports, the platform has aimed to make clinical and operational information more accessible while enabling healthcare teams to spend more time on patient care.
AI SAGE brings together information from multiple hospital systems into a single conversational interface. Instead of searching through different applications, clinicians can request comprehensive patient summaries, including recent laboratory abnormalities, imaging findings, pending investigations, and other relevant clinical information within seconds.
Vibhu Talwar, Managing Director, Moolchand Healthcare, reports that AI SAGE has reduced the need for manual reporting, returning more than 10 hours each week to patient care activities.
He also states that infection outbreak response and quality incident response times have been shortened from days to hours through faster access to actionable information.
Talwar said, "We wanted our clinicians to spend less time hunting for information and more time acting on it."
Established more than nine decades ago, the Delhi-based multispecialty hospital serves patients across more than 50 specialities through a network of over 250 doctors.
In 2025, the hospital strengthened its cardiac care capabilities through the expansion of the Medanta-Moolchand Heart Centre, combining Medanta's clinical expertise with Moolchand's established presence in South Delhi while outlining plans for a next-generation 1,000-plus-bed quaternary care facility.

Physicians can review patient histories and trends more efficiently, while emergency teams can monitor patient flow and identify bottlenecks in real time.
Operating theatre managers can track utilisation and cancellations, quality teams can monitor infection trends and accreditation indicators, and pharmacy and laboratory departments can reconcile orders while monitoring inventory and expiry timelines.
