Ayush Grid Powers Digital Transformation as 24 Platforms Expand Access to Healthcare Services

More than 5,300 Ayush health facilities have been onboarded to AHMIS, allowing health authorities to use standardized reporting and real-time dashboards for planning and monitoring healthcare services.
India's Ministry of Ayush has highlighted significant progress under its Ayush Grid initiative, reporting the nationwide deployment of 24 e-governance platforms designed to modernize Ayush healthcare, research, education, administration, and citizen services.
The government says the expanding Digital ecosystem is improving access to Ayush services, strengthening health facility management, and supporting data-driven governance through integration with the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM).
Ayush Grid was introduced to build an integrated Digital ecosystem for India's traditional systems of medicine, including Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, and Homoeopathy.
Notably, My Ayush Integrated Services Portal (MAISP), the Ministry's unified Digital gateway, integrates Ayush-related applications and citizen services and features a beta version of an AI-enabled chatbot to assist users and improve their Digital experience while enabling real-time monitoring and informed decision-making.
Healthcare delivery has also become increasingly Digital through the ABDM-compliant Ayush Hospital Management Information System (AHMIS).
The platform supports electronic patient registration, Digital health records, referrals, and continuity of care across Ayush facilities.
As of July 15, 2026, 5,386 Ayush health facilities have been onboarded to AHMIS, allowing health authorities to use standardized reporting and real-time dashboards for planning and monitoring healthcare services.
Several other Digital platforms have been developed to strengthen different parts of the Ayush ecosystem.
The Ayush Anudan Portal has digitized the management of government funding proposals, while the Ayush Research Portal provides access to more than 43,000 curated research publications.
The Ayush Nivesh Saarthi Portal has been designed to guide domestic and international investors exploring opportunities in the Ayush sector, and the e-Charak portal connects stakeholders across the medicinal plants value chain through a Digital marketplace.
Meanwhile, the PM GatiShakti Ayush Asset Mapping Tool has digitally mapped 6,002 Ayush health facilities using GIS technology to support infrastructure planning and policy decisions.
The Ministry says it will continue enhancing the Ayush Grid by adopting emerging Digital technologies such as artificial intelligence and machine learning, expanding multilingual services through the Digital India BHASHINI Division, and strengthening integration with national Digital health programmes, including ABDM.
