Anderson Diagnostics, a Chennai-based diagnostic centre, is preparing to raise around INR 250 Cr to expand its operations, strengthen diagnostic services, and invest in advanced healthcare technologies, with backing from the Tata Capital Healthcare Fund.
The planned capital raise will be directed toward strengthening Anderson Diagnostics' operational presence, expanding healthcare service offerings, and investing in advanced diagnostic technologies.
The diagnostic centre is expected to leverage the funding to enhance its capabilities in a market that is becoming increasingly reliant on early disease detection, specialized testing, and preventive health screening.
Support from Tata Capital Healthcare Fund is expected to provide both financial and strategic backing as Anderson Diagnostics pursues its growth plans.
Currently, Anderson Diagnostics operates across several high-growth healthcare segments, including advanced radiology and imaging services such as MRI, CT, PET-CT, ultrasound, women's imaging, and preventive imaging.
The organization also provides comprehensive laboratory medicine services covering biochemistry, haematology, microbiology, histopathology, immunology, and preventive health testing.
In addition, it has expanded into precision genetics and molecular diagnostics, with capabilities spanning reproductive genetics, oncogenomics, neurogenetics, infectious disease genetics, and transplant genetics.
Industry experts note that diagnostic companies with capabilities across imaging, pathology, and genomics are well-positioned to benefit from growing demand for specialized testing and integrated care pathways.
