Ambuja Neotia Appoints Ruma Banerjee as Whole Time Director of Healthcare Vertical

Banerjee will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer while taking on her new responsibilities as Whole Time Director
Ambuja Neotia has announced the appointment of Ruma Banerjee as Whole Time Director of the Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Vertical.
According to the company's LinkedIn post, Banerjee will continue to serve as Chief Operating Officer while taking on her new responsibilities as Whole Time Director. Prior to this appointment, she served as Vice President within the organisation.
Announcing the leadership change, the company said the Board of Directors had approved significant leadership appointments as it concluded another year for the Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Vertical.
"We are delighted to share that the Board of Directors has announced significant leadership appointments that will further strengthen our organisation and support our long term vision," the company said.
Commenting on Banerjee's appointment, Ambuja Neotia said, "Ms. Banerjee will continue to serve as the Chief Operating Officer and her progress is a testament to her outstanding leadership, commitment and invaluable contribution to the growth of our healthcare vertical."
The company added that the appointment "reflect the Board's confidence in her capabilities and reaffirm our commitment to building a strong and future ready leadership team."
The announcement comes a day after Ambuja Neotia named Parthiv Neotia as Managing Director of Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited, where he will lead the healthcare vertical of the Ambuja Neotia Group.
Prior to this appointment, Neotia served as Joint Managing Director of Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited, a role he has held since 2025. He has also been Executive Director at AmbujaNeotia Group since 2018, actively participating in the management and operations of the group.
The development comes as Ambuja Neotia steps up expansion of its healthcare venture. Earlier this year, the group announced a 300-bed multi-speciality hospital in Guwahati, part of an INR 700 crore integrated healthcare and hospitality project approved by the Assam government.
