Vaidam Health Acquires CancerRounds to Expand Cancer Care Network

The initiative is expected to streamline global healthcare navigation, including digital coordination and AI-assisted matching of patients to appropriate specialists.

Gurugram-based healthcare startup Vaidam Health has acquired CancerRounds, an oncology-focused healthcare platform designed to support cancer patients in connecting with doctors, hospitals, and treatment options.

The acquisition is aimed at strengthening Vaidam Health’s oncology-focused healthcare platform and expanding access for cancer patients seeking expert medical guidance and treatment coordination.

The initiative is expected to streamline global healthcare navigation, including digital coordination and AI-assisted matching of patients to appropriate specialists.

Through the integration, the company aims to build a unified platform for hospital discovery, treatment planning, and care continuity.

The platform is intended to enable patients with a more structured and efficient access to advanced oncology services across borders under a single integrated platform.

Commenting on the latest acquisition, Pankaj Chandna, Co-founder of Vaidam Health, said, “Oncology has consistently been one of our largest medical travel verticals. Cancer patients and their families often need a higher level of guidance because treatment decisions are time-sensitive, specialized, and deeply personal. CancerRounds has built focused experience in oncology care navigation, and this acquisition allows us to bring that capability into our existing international patient services.”

Over the years, CancerRounds has supported more than 5,000 patients globally through a network of over 500 oncologists and partnerships with more than 200 hospitals, including specialised cancer treatment centres.

The combined platform is expected to focus on improving continuity of care and reducing fragmentation for patients undergoing treatment across different healthcare systems and geographies.

The acquisition will enable the integration of CancerRounds’ oncology care navigation experience with Vaidam Health’s international patient services and support post-treatment follow-ups.

The latest acquisition is built on Vaidam Health's earlier acquisition of MediJourney, a healthcare facilitation technology platform incubated by Ferns N Petals, to strengthen its digital infrastructure, AI-based communication processes, and multilingual patient onboarding capabilities.
