Radical Health Exits Stealth with AI Platform to Personalize Cancer Care

The announcement comes as healthcare systems and cancer centers increasingly adopt AI tools to enhance decision support, reduce administrative burden and optimize clinical workflows.

Radical Health, a precision oncology startup backed by Khosla Ventures, has officially emerged from stealth with a seed funding round aimed at building a generative AI platform designed to personalize cancer care.

The company plans to modernize treatment decision-making by combining clinical guidelines, genomic markers, historical outcomes and real-time patient data into dynamic care pathways.

Founded by former executives from Flatiron Health and Tempus, Radical Health is developing an AI assistant that acts as a clinical co-pilot for oncologists - surfacing treatment options, highlighting evidence-based pathways and providing individualized reasoning behind each recommendation.

For patients, the platform translates complex cancer information into understandable insights, helping them navigate the emotional and logistical challenges of care.

The platform analyzes genomic tests, treatment responses, comorbidities and toxicity risks to generate personalized care plans, enabling oncologists to make more informed decisions at each stage of treatment.

Vinod Khosla, Founder of Khosla Ventures, highlighted the firm backs Radical Health because of its potential to “transform how cancer care is delivered by bringing clarity, precision and usable intelligence into one of the most complex areas of medicine.”

Radical Health’s founders noted that oncology demands deeper personalization as cancer cases become more heterogeneous and genomic testing becomes mainstream. “The future of cancer care must be individualized, data-driven and accessible,” the company said in a statement.

The announcement comes as healthcare systems and cancer centers increasingly adopt AI tools to enhance decision support, reduce administrative burden and optimize clinical workflows.

Radical Health’s technology is positioned to support oncologists, cancer institutes, integrated delivery networks and virtual oncology platforms seeking scalable precision medicine capabilities.

With its fresh funding and AI-first infrastructure, Radical Health aims to accelerate deployment across cancer care networks in 2026, strengthening the broader shift toward personalized medicine and AI-assisted clinical decision support in oncology.
