Prudential Health India Appoints Amit Dave as CEO & MD, Abhishek Saraf as COO

The leadership appointments come as Prudential Health India continues to streamline its health insurance operations and strengthen governance across core business functions.

Prudential Health India has announced key leadership changes, appointing Amit Dave as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, subject to regulatory approval, and Abhishek Saraf as Chief Operating Officer.

Amit Dave will succeed Amar Joshi, who has stepped down to pursue other opportunities. Dave brings more than two decades of experience in the insurance sector, with expertise spanning strategy, product design, agency distribution, bancassurance, and strategic partnerships.

Before this role, Dave served as President and Chief Distribution Officer at Tata AIA Life Insurance, where he was responsible for driving distribution strategy and business expansion initiatives.

Abhishek Saraf has been appointed COO and will work closely with functional leaders across finance, actuarial, risk, compliance, products, and data analytics. His role will focus on ensuring operational alignment, execution discipline, and delivery of business priorities.

Saraf has over 25 years of experience within the Prudential ecosystem. Most recently, he served as Group Chief Actuary, contributing to actuarial strategy and risk management functions across the organization.
