Prosus Invests $460 Mn in French HealthTech Firm Alan at $6.3 Bn Valuation

Dutch investment company Prosus has invested $460 million in French health technology company Alan, valuing the startup at $6.3 billion.
Alan operates in France, Canada, Belgium, and Spain, offering services including health insurance and telehealth. The company reported annual recurring revenue of 800 million euros as of the first quarter of 2026.
According to the company, the investment will comprise both primary and secondary equity.
The funding is expected to support Alan's expansion into international markets while accelerating the development of its AI-led products and services.
As part of the investment, Prosus will also provide Alan with access to its Large Commerce Model.
The transaction remains subject to applicable regulatory approvals, including approval from French financial authorities.
